Line 1 partially closed this summer
Bergen Light Rail (Bybanen) Line 1 will not run between the city centre (Byparken) and Slettebakken from 29th of June to 26th of July due to maintenance work.
What does this mean for you?
If you are travelling to or from the city centre, you cannot use the light rail on this part of the route during this period. However:

Line 1 still runs as normal between Slettebakken and Bergen Airport (Flesland)

The disruption only affects the section between Byparken (city centre) and Slettebakke
Replacement buses
Replacement buses will run frequently and take you between the affected areas:
Lagunen - Bergen bus station
While Light Rail Line 1 is suspended between Slettebakken and the city centre, replacement buses will run between Lagunen and Bergen Bus Station.

From Lagunen to Bergen Bus Station:
- Lagunen Terminal (K) – Hop (Sjølinjen) – Fjøsangerkrysset – Fjøsanger – Kristianborg – Minde – Reperbanen – Danmarks plass (D) – Florida – Nygård – Bergen Bus Station (L)
From Bergen Bus Station to Lagunen:
- Bergen bus station (L) – Nygård – Florida – Danmarks plass (E) – Reperbanen – Minde – Kristianborg – Fjøsanger – Fjøsangerkrysset – Hop (Sjølinjen) – Lagunen Terminal (K)
Frequency and travel time
- Travel time is approximately 15 minutes between Lagunen and Bergen Bus Station
- Buses run every 10 minutes from early morning until around 22:00 (20:30 on Sundays)
- After this, buses run every 15 minutes

Nesttun - Bergen bus station
While Light Rail Line 1 is suspended between Slettebakken and the city centre, replacement buses will run between Nesttun and Bergen Bus Station.

From Bergen Bus Station to Nesttun:
- Bergen Bus Station (M) – Nygård – Florida – Danmarks plass (E) – Reperbanen – Wergeland (D) – Elvebakken – Storetveit – Fantoft – Nydalen – Paradis (D) – Tveiteråsskiftet – Hopsbro – Hopstangen – Nesttun Terminal (C)

- Travel time is approximately 16 minutes between Nesttun and Bergen Bus Station
- Buses run every 10 minutes from early morning until around 22:00 (20:30 on Sundays)
- After this, buses run every 15 minutes

Late evening and night services
The last departure (Monday–Thursday):
- From Nesttun to Bergen Bus Station: 00:15.
- From Bergen Bus Station to Nesttun: 00:18.
- From Lagunen to Bergen bus station 00.10.
- From Bergen bus station to Lagunen 00.25.
On Fridays and Saturdays, there are night departures from Bergen Bus Station to Bergen Airport

Important:
There are no night buses from Bergen Airport. Night buses instead run from Lagunen and Nesttun to the city centre.
