Bergen light rail: Changes this summer

Bergen Light Rail will operate a normal summer timetable.

You can find the timetable for line 2 Bergen city centre-Fyllingsdalen terminal here.

Kaigaten will be closed. This means that Bergen Light Rail lines 1 and 2 cannot use Byparken, Kaigaten and Nonneseter stations.

Bergen Light Rail will terminate at Bergen busstasjon (the bus station) for these two weeks.

Kaigaten and Lars Hilles gate will be closed. Below you can see how services on lines 1 and 2 will operate over these two weeks.

Line 1 Bergen airport – Bergen city centre

Bergen Light Rail Line 1 cannot stop at these stations: Byparken, Nonneseter, Nygård, Florida, Danmarks plass and Kronstad A and B. 

Line 1 will operate as follows:

From Bergen airport: Normal route from Bergen airport up to and including Brann stadion. Then Kronstad E – Haukeland sjukehus – Fløen – Bergen busstasjon D. 

From the city centre: Bergen busstasjon C – Fløen – Haukeland sjukehus – Kronstad F – normal route from Brann stadion onwards.

Line 2 Fyllingsdalen terminal – Bergen city centre

Line 2 cannot use Nonneseter and Kaigaten stations.

Bergen Light Rail Line 2 will terminate at Bergen busstasjon (the bus station) for these two weeks.

Lars Hilles gate will be closed. Below you can see how services on Line 1 will operate during this week. Line 2 will operate a normal service with this timetable.

Line 1 Bergen airport – Bergen city centre

Bergen Light Rail Line 1 cannot stop at these stations: Bergen busstasjon A and B, Nygård, Florida, Danmarks plass and Kronstad A and B. 

Line 1 will operate as follows:

From Bergen airport: Normal route from Bergen airport up to and including Brann stadion. Then Kronstad E – Haukeland sjukehus – Fløen – Bergen busstasjon D – Nonneseter – Byparken.

From the city centre: Byparken – Nonneseter – Bergen busstasjon C – Fløen – Haukeland sjukehus – Kronstad F – normal route from Brann stadion onwards.

We will not operate any rail replacement services, since we will have many bus services covering the areas where the Bergen Light Rail will not be running.

Danmarks plass:

• Krohnsminde J to the city centre: Line 5 Fyllingsdalen terminal and Line 6 Lyngbø.
• Krohnsminde K from the city centre: Line 5 Sletten and Line 6 Birkelundstoppen.
• Danmarks plass D to the city centre: Lines 14, 51, 67, 83 and 600, all of which terminate at Bergen busstasjon (the bus station).
• Danmarks plass E from Bergen bus station: Line 14 Fyllingsdalen terminal, Line 51 Birkelandsskiftet terminal, Line 67 Søråshøgda, Line 83 Nesttun terminal and Line 600 Osøyro-Halhjem. 

Florida:

• Florida to the city centre: Line 11 Nordnes, Line 12 Lønborglien and Line 16E Øyjorden.
• Florida from the city centre: Line 11 Starefossen, Line 12 Montana-Lægdene, Line 13 Solheimsviken and Line 16E Nesttun via Helldalsåsen.

Nygård:

• Nygård to the city centre: Line 11 Nordnes, Line 12 Lønborglien and Line 16E Øyjorden.
• Nygård from the city centre: Line 11 Starefossen, Line 12 Montana-Lægdene, Line 13 Solheimsviken and Line 16E Nesttun via Helldalsåsen.
