Season ticket - 7, 30 or 180 days

With season ticket, you can travel as much as you like on a specific route or within a specific area by bus/ Bergen Light Rail for 7, 30 or 180 days. Season ticket is a non-personal product that can be used by different people, but only by one person at a time. The person using the season ticket must always meet the age and discount requirements. The ticket can be used by adults, children, seniors/concession holders and students.

Family discount: Up to four children aged between 6 and 17 can travel free of charge together with an adult passenger on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Buying and using season ticket
You can buy season ticket from ticket machines, mobile app, at our customer service center and from the driver if you have a Skyss Travelcard (drivers do not accept bank cards). If you buy a season ticket from a ticket machine and are a student or concession holder under the age of 67, you can change categories after choosing season ticket.

Using season ticket
Season ticket purchased with a mobile phone is activated at once. Season ticket is valid for 7, 30 or 180 days from the time the ticket is first used/activated. You must activate season ticket on your Skyss Travelcard when using it for the first time in a new period. This can be done by the bus driver or in the following way using the card reader on board:

  • Hold the Skyss Travelcard steady against the card reader.
  • Select season ticket (‘7-,30-, 180-dagarsbillett’) (using the button on either the right or left).
  • Hold the card steady against the card reader again. For the rest of the period, you register each journey by holding the Skyss Travelcard steady in front of the card reader.

Please note: Season ticket must be activated on your Skyss Travelcard within 30 days of the purchase date.
