Safely home-service is a regional night-bus service for young people between the ages of 16 and 24. These buses have guaranteed spaces for people in this age group, but others can also travel by night bus if there is room.
The Safely home-service bus routes are as follows:
Bømlo/Stord (in Norwegian only)
- Leirvik-Svortland-Langevåg (route 800)
- Leirvik-Moster (route 800)
- Svortland-Moster (route 554/555)
- Svortland-Langevåg (route 552)
Kvinnherad (in Norwegian only)
- Rosendal-Husnes-Utåker (route 760)
- Utåker-Husnes-Rosendal-Løfallstrand (route 760)
Voss/Granvin/Ulvik
- Voss station-Granvin (route 925)
- Voss station-Vinje-Stalheim (route 950/964) (964 in Norwegian only)
- Voss station-Granvin-Ulvik-Hjeltnes (route 945)
- Holbergplass-Bolstadøyri (route 950)
- Voss station-Dalsleitet (route 951) (in Norwegian only)
Extra bus services are set up in connection with events for young people.
The Get Home Safely service is provided by local transport companies on contract for Hordaland county authority. The service is run by buses, maxi taxis and ordinary taxis. Youth Travel can be used for the night bus services. The price is NOK 50 for persons under the age of 25 for passengers without Youth Travel. The normal night bus price applies on buses for persons over the age of 25. For maxi taxis and ordinary taxis are the price NOK 70 for persons over the age of 25, irrespective of destination. Connections to/from the Get Home Safely services are free of charge. The service follows the ordinary bus routes and only stops at bus stops.
Get Home Safely in Voss has facilities for passengers in wheelchairs. There is a pick up and drop off service for the physically disabled which covers an area up to 3 km from the bus route.
